El Gran Sueño, our charming hideaway, is cradled in the quaint hamlet of El Caspiu, just one kilometre from the picturesque village of Pintueles. Nestled at the base of the majestic El Sueve Nature Reserve, it has impressive views of the Picos de Europa National Park. Just a stone's throw away, a mere 12-minute journey, lies the bustling market town of Infiesto.
Step out of your door and be greeted by the quintessential Asturian landscape, inviting you to embark on picturesque, circular walks. Our gardens, a serene oasis, are bordered by lush apple orchards and tranquil grazing fields, with the house proudly overlooking the Plaza del Caspiu and its enchanting array of hórreos, the iconic Asturian granaries.
Infiesto, the vibrant heart of Piloña, is a bustling hub of around 2,000 souls. Despite its modest size, it's a treasure trove of independent boutiques offering an eclectic mix of designer fashion, jewellery, charming children's wear, and stylish home decor. The town's culinary scene is equally impressive, with a plethora of butchers, fishmongers, and patisseries. Amidst this diverse shopping paradise, you'll find a lively assortment of cafés, bars, restaurants, and the quintessential Asturian sidrerías (cider houses).
